My reverence for nature and its cycles inspires my artwork in its many forms. Based in Albuquerque, New Mexico, I work in naturally dyed fibers, printmaking, and photography. 

Velvet Zopilote is a project that was born from my compulsion to create, which first appeared as a child and resurfaced now in my thirties.

Moving to the desert from a tropical climate in 2019 taught me that there is beauty in all landscapes, and also in all phases of life.

My work explores themes of freedom, exploring the unknown, and joy as an act of resistance.

My promise to you is to never use AI to create my art – I conceive and create all artwork myself. I learned how to take photos, dye silk, and carve stamps because art is and always will be accessible to anyone who dares to be a beginner at something.
